Cynthia Gallaher

Cynthia Gallaher, a native Chicagoan from the northwest side, completed her RYT 200 teacher training at Bloom Yoga in Chicago, where she taught community classes, participated in specialties such as therapeutics workshops, and focused on Level I Hatha yoga, Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga and Yoga for Seniors. A practitioner for 15 years, Cynthia looks to yoga as a holistic discipline that helps meld physical, emotional and spiritual health, and became a yoga instructor to share these ideals and opportunities for deeper self-discovery with others. Besides her involvement with yoga, Cynthia is also a published poet and experienced writing workshop leader, easily facilitating a nurturing teacher/student environment. Author of “Omnivore Odes,” a researched book on foods, herbs and spices, as well as numerous health articles, Cynthia has in-depth knowledge regarding nutrition, superfoods, herbs, aromatherapy and natural healing.
