Recital and Showcase Info
We are preparing for our first annual production of The Nutcracker this December! Please stay tuned for more information and feel free to reach out to Miss Tiffani at tlawrence@mcfetridgesportscenter.net if you have questions. This is a brand new process so we appreciate your patience!
Nutcracker will be a primarily ballet, extra performance opportunity that is Audition ONLY. Students will sign up for an audition slot, and will take a class where they learn and perform a short dance combination all during one audition.
Auditions are September 14th. Sign-ups for auditions open on September 2nd at 9am! Sign up here! Auditioning does not guarantee your student a spot in the show. If students are cast, they will perform in at least two numbers, and some students will be cast in specialty roles.
Once students are cast, they will be contacted with their times for rehearsals. They will also be enrolled in the $120 Nutcracker class, which includes the rental of two costumes. Rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons, sometime between 1:30 and 6:30 pm. Rehearsals will run from 11/2 to 12/7.
We will have the dress rehearsal on December 13th and one show on December 14th. More details about the show coming soon!
Parent Watch Week
Every year at the end of Fall session we host a Parent Watch Week! This year, Parent Watch Week will be the week of December 15th to 21st! If you are interested in participating, make sure you are enrolled in the Fall session!
Spring Recital
Our annual recital takes place each spring, and registration starts in the winter! If you are interested in joining us for recital, make sure your student is enrolled in the Winter session of classes and come back to this page closer to the end of the year!
